One of those conversations

Kid, led by his Mum, presented a set of 6 'encouragement stamps' to me, as Happy Teacher's Day gift.

Mum: Say, 'for you, Teacher Jancy'.
Kid: Um... Teacher Jancy, which one do you want?
Mum: No, it's all for her.
Me: Oh, how many can I have?
Kid: Um, one.
Me: Ok. One for me. And how many is for you?
Kid: Two.

He knows Maths - more/less concept well. So, we continued...

Mum: No. They are all for teacher. Say, 'All for you...'
Kid: All is a lot. I think, just one.

hahahah... how can anyone not love such honesty?

He said it totally in the way we adults tell him when he asks for candies or chocolates! 'No, that is a lot / too many. Just one.'
